Programs run and operate all year long so you may join at any time.
Students under the age of 13 who start Judo with no or little experience begin in this program. The focus of this program is to teach youths to fall safely, learn basic Japanese commands, and basic Judo customs. Youth’s in this program will also begin to learn basic Judo techniques. Students in this program generally attend one to two times per week and progress at a much faster rate then the kids classes.
Students who have shown dedication and interest in more advanced or competitive Judo will be moved to join this program. Practices in this program are more intense, both physically and mentally. Students will only be selected to join this program if their Sensei believes they are fully equipped to handle both the mental and physical challenge. Preparation for Judo competition and grappling skills are emphasized in this program. Students in this program generally attend two to three times per week.
